On Friday, 8/21/26 suspects entered 4650 Stacks Rd, Atlanta, GA 30349 Trux Inc Truck Parking and stole a container load of 44,593 pounds of scrap copper in smaller gaylord type boxes. Based on GPS data, the container traveled to Lithonia, GA and hit in several areas on 8/21/26 before it traveled back to Conley, GA and hit on Moreland Avenue on Sat. 8/22/26. The focus of the investigation is centered on some spots in Lithonia for a possible transload location. The Container was recovered on 8/25/26 parked on the side of I-675. Investigation continues.
