Detailed Description of the Material

During the early morning hours of 3-8-10 persons unknown cut down live telephone cable on State Route 93 northeast of Jackson, Ohio, which knocked out phone service to 500 residential and small business customers. The entire town of Coalton, OH was isolated as a result of the theft. Approximately 80 feet of 300 pair, 22 gauge telephone cable was stolen. The sheathing from the telephone cable will probably be burned off and look similar to the attached photo.
