On February 27, 2014, the Price County, WI, Sheriff’s Department issued an alert in reference to the theft of two tractor wheel weights valued at $200 and each weighing 100 lbs.  With assistance from employees at Alter Metal Recycling in Medford, WI, deputies recovered the stolen items and identified a suspect.  Prosecution is pending.
