On 10-29-13, Detective Peter Van Wormer of the Elyria Police Department in Elyria, OH issued a theft alert in reference to the theft of two 55 gallons barrels of copper pipe and wire. After the alert was broadcast, he was assisted by Reeds Salvage in nearby Grafton, OH. Detective Van Wormer was provided with good still images of the transaction and suspect. He was identified and as a result, warrants were issued for his arrest. Great job!
